Job Summary
Role Title: Urgent Care - Clinic Services Manager Vhi 360 Swords
Role Location: Swords Clinic Onsite Role
Role Grade: Band 1
Vhi Health & Wellbeing DAC currently has a full time permanent role for the position of Clinic Services this role you would be responsible for the day-to-day operational leadership of the Urgent Care clinic working in partnership with Nurse Leads and Doctor Leads to deliver efficient services strong clinic performance and an exceptional patient experience.
What will you do:
People Culture & Leadership
Lead coach and support the administration team with accountability for rostering
recruitment onboarding performance development payroll inputs leave management and mandatory training compliance.
Provide visible operational leadership across the clinic promoting clear communication accountability collaboration and a positive culture aligned to Vhi values and behaviours.
Act as the primary on-site operational contact for clinical colleagues and participate in the Urgent Care on-call rotation including support for out-of-hours site and facility issues.
Service Enhancement & Financial Sustainability
Identify and implement opportunities to improve the standardisation efficiency and effectiveness of clinic administration and operations.
Manage designated budget lines administrative rostered hours and clinic revenue processes ensuring accurate billing and sound cost control.
Monitor and report on operational performance metrics account for variances and contribute to service enhancement projects that strengthen clinic performance.
Quality & Safety
Work with colleagues across the clinic and wider Urgent Care service to deliver safe efficient patient flow and a consistently high-quality patient experience.
Take local ownership for patient experience KPIs complaints and incidents ensuring timely follow-up constructive communication and learning from feedback.
Liaise with third-party suppliers and internal support teams to ensure outpatient services are well coordinated and appropriately resourced.
What you need to be successful:
Education & Experience
Minimum of 5 years management experience in a healthcare environment; experience in Urgent Care or a similar clinical setting is beneficial.
Experience working with clinical care systems patient billing processes and operational performance management in a busy service environment.
Experience in teaching and assessing and developing junior staff.
Interpersonal Skills
Strong people leadership communication and relationship-building skills with the ability to influence support and gain the respect of colleagues across clinical and non-clinical teams.
Highly organised analytical and detail-focused with sound judgement a strong customer focus and awareness of quality risk and financial management.
A positive resilient and solution-focused approach with flexibility integrity and a commitment to continuous improvement and change.
