Responsibilities
- Administer anesthesia and monitor patients throughout surgical procedures
- Conduct pre-operative assessments and evaluations
- Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Manage post-anesthesia care and provide necessary follow-up
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Adhere to safety protocols and best practices in anesthesia
- Educate patients and families regarding anesthesia processes and safety
- Participate in continuous medical education and training
Requirements
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Current board certification in Anesthesiology
- Valid medical license to practice in the state of Massachusetts
- Strong clinical skills and a patient-centered approach
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of care
- Experience in a surgical or hospital setting is preferred
Schedule: 8-hour day shifts specific dates
No call requirement
Setting: Outpatient
Patient Volume: 10 per shift
Caseload: 100% GI
Must be board-certified
