As a Locum MD you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality surgical services particularly in orthopedic and trauma cases. You will collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for our patients contributing to their recovery and overall well-being. Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient evaluations and assessments
- Perform orthopedic and trauma surgeries as needed
- Develop and implement treatment plans for patients
- Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly
- Participate in medical staff meetings and case discussions
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
- Provide patient education and support to promote recovery
Requirements
- Medical degree (MD) from an accredited institution
- Valid medical license to practice in the state of operation
- Experience in orthopedic surgery and trauma surgery
- Strong surgical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Commitment to patient-centered care and ethics
- Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
Level III trauma
Schedule: Thursday 5p-Monday 7a
100% trauma cases general orthopedic surgery skills required
Support Staff: APPs
EMR: Cerner
Must be board-certified
