This contract position presents a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced staffing and recruiting environment providing essential medical services and care.

As a Locum MD/DO in Radiology you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging services. Your expertise will contribute significantly to patient care and the efficient operation of our healthcare partners.

Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic imaging procedures and interpret results accurately
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulatory requirements
  • Document patient information and imaging findings in medical records
  • Stay updated on advancements in radiological technology and practices
  • Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to quality improvement initiatives
  • Provide guidance and support to junior staff and students as needed
  • Maintain effective communication with patients and their families regarding procedures and outcomes

Requirements

  • Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree from an accredited institution
  • Current medical license to practice in the state of Kentucky
  • Experience in radiology with a focus on diagnostic imaging techniques
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and education
  • Prior experience in a locum tenens role is a plus

Schedule: 8-hour day shifts 1-2 weeks per month

Daily Volume: 14-16 procedures

80% IR 20% DX

CT-guided and US-guided procedures

Will read CT and PF during downtime

Support Staff: Midlevels

Must be board-certified

Paid travel & expenses
