Job Details:
Student Success Coordinators are responsible for supporting students enrolled in UWWs Dual Enrollment programs which allow high school students to earn college credits. These roles serve as a vital connector between high school teachers institutional faculty liaisons and campus student support services ensuring a coordinated approach to student achievement and credit attainment. These positions will require state-wide travel and evening hours.
Student Support
Provide direct outreach and advising to all assigned dual enrollment students within specified timeframes to introduce the academic success coaching process and establish a proactive and supportive wrap around relationship that will be fostered and maintained through the student life cycle
Ensure that students are provided with an individualized learning plan that identifies resources for managing areas of challenge and concern and timely next steps required to reach agreed upon academic goals
Monitor student performance and intervene proactively when academic or engagement concerns arise including reviewing final grades and transcripts in partnership with students districts and families
Develop workshops orientation sessions and digital resources tailored to help high school students understand college expectations and success strategies
Support students in planning future academic pathways beyond dual enrollment by connecting students with appropriate contacts
Collaboration with High Schools
Regular in-person visits to partner high schools to meet students build relationships with educators and share student progress information where appropriate
Serve as the primary point of contact for high school teachers offering dual enrollment courses at their high schools
Partner with high school counselors to align student support services and early college awareness programming
Attend college and career planning events parents-teacher and school programs as appropriate
Provide dual enrollment training days for current instructors including updates to institutional policies student resources and college-level expectations
Faculty Liaison Engagement
Coordinate with institutional faculty liaisons to ensure quality instruction and consistency across dual enrollment courses
Facilitate communication between faculty liaison and high school teachers to support academic alignment and instructional needs
Provide feedback on student experiences
Administrative Duties
Provide direct student support throughout the application registration and enrollment phases
Maintain accurate records and prepare reports
Ensure compliance with university policies and Higher Learning Commission regulations related to dual enrollment
Work closely with stakeholders to meet established metrics and outcomes

Required Qualifications:
Bachelors degree
Minimum of 1 year of professional experience in advising counseling student services human services or related field
Drivers License and reliable transportation: This position requires occasional evening and weekend work as well as travel to partner high schools
2 years of experience in K-12 or higher education ideally in student services
Strong understanding of dual enrollment programs and their benefits
Prior experience working closely with high school students
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and student information systems
Experience working within a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool
Excellent oral and written communication skills with ability to match message delivery to audience needs via multiple delivery methods
Ability to flourish and thrive in a fast-paced environment of rapid change be comfortable with ambiguity and think on ones feet
Demonstrated ability to provide quality customer service including timely communication in-person via phone and email
Demonstrated experience utilizing active listening and critical thinking skills to effectively solve problems
Ability to use an array of technology tools including databases Microsoft office suite and social networking
Ability to interact respectfully with people with diverse socioeconomic cultural and ethnic backgrounds
Willingness and ability to be an active participant in following applicable safety rules and regulations including necessary training and drills
