Job Summary

Temp To Full-Time

Madden Industrial Craftsmen is seeking a licensed HVAC Service Technician (O6A and/or O6B) for our client in Vancouver WA. This role focuses on diagnostics repair maintenance and refrigeration-related services in the residential commercial and industrial sectors. The successful candidate will be delivering dependable professional field support.

Pay: $30/hr DOE
Schedule: TuesdayFriday 10-hour day shifts

Key Responsibilities

Diagnose service and repair commercial and industrial HVAC and refrigeration systems
Perform advanced system diagnostics using schematics wiring diagrams and service manuals
Troubleshoot mechanical electrical and refrigeration issues
Perform repairs on HVAC units compressors condensers evaporators and related components
Complete preventative maintenance and service calls efficiently and accurately
Document diagnostics repairs materials used and service recommendations
Communicate clearly with customers dispatch and internal teams
Follow all safety procedures PPE requirements and applicable codes

What You Bring

Active O6A and/or O6B HVAC license
EPA refrigerant certification
Minimum 3 years of HVAC service technician experience
Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
Ability to read and interpret schematics wiring diagrams and technical documentation
Hands-on experience performing HVAC and refrigeration repairs
Valid drivers license and clean driving record
Dependable safety-focused work habits and professional communication skills
Ability to participate in an on-call rotation

Maybe You Have

Experience with commercial refrigeration systems
Familiarity with controls VFDs or building automation systems
Experience training or mentoring junior technicians
Background in both HVAC and refrigeration service

Work Environment
This is a field-based role in commercial and industrial environments. Work may include rooftop access ladders confined spaces and exposure to varying weather conditions. PPE and strict safety compliance are required at all times.
