This position will be onsite in our Westlake OH office

Responsibilities

This position supports our Sales Support team withassistingoursellersday to daytasks. We are looking for candidates that are strong and effective communicators who are self-motivated toopen upabout ideas in collaboration with the team as well as having interest in learning more about our Sales Support team. This is an all-encompassing sales internship opportunity that will provide an invaluable experience. This Internship will allow you to gain knowledge into the ECM software sales industry as well as learn salesbasedbest practices. Through different projects and interactions you will get a glimpse into thedifferent aspectsof the Hyland Software Sales Team.

  • This opportunity will provide exposure to the Sales Support Solution Architect Sales Operations SalesAcademyand Customer Reference teams.
  • Provide assistance toHyland Account Managers in their efforts to meet and exceed assigned quota/target revenue for named accounts by contributing to the Sales Support team.
  • Learn the importance of our pre-sales team and understand the role of a Solution Architect lendingassistancewhere needed.
  • Understand the value of sales data analytics and how that information canbenefita sales team amongst other duties assigned by theSalesOperations team.
  • Work with the Sales Academy on various sales enablement and development projectsin an effort tobetter our overall sales force through different training programs.
  • Become proficient with data mining and reference identification by working with our Customer Reference team.
  • When possible join teleconference or in-person sales calls conducted between the Hyland sales team and our existing customer base.
  • Participate and contribute whennecessaryin various sales team meetings.
    Prospecting/Calling
  • Comply withall corporate and departmental privacy and data security policies and practices including but not limited to Hylands Information Systems Security Policy

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proficiencywith Microsoft Office software products
  • Attentive to department needs asdemonstratedby rapid and high-quality responsiveness to requests
  • Excellent interpersonal skills; able tomaintainsolid rapport with team members as well asmaintainprofessionalism with those outside of department
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills thatdemonstratea professional demeanor and the ability to interact with others with discretion and tact
  • Keen attention to detail
  • Capable ofidentifyingand completing tasks independently with a sense of urgency and ownership
  • Demonstrated success atmaintaininghigh personal work standards
  • Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and tact
  • Or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the principal duties of the position.
