We are seeking a Care Team Leader (RN) to:

Provide informal leadership to nursing and support staff in a non-supervisory role.
Beresponsible for the needs of the assigned base to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
Demonstrate the ability to care for complex critical care patients by assuming flight/transport duty 66% of the scheduled time or as operational needs require.

Qualifications

Associates Degree Nursing (ADN) Required
Bachelors of Science Nursing (BSN) Degree Preferred

Work Experience

3 years of recent critical care nursing/transport experience Required
3 years of leadership experience Preferred
Familiarity with operations of the assigned UW Med Flight base Preferred

Licenses & Certifications

Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state(s) where patients are receiving care or may work as eligible per state licensing regulations Required
Basic Life Support/CPR Required
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Required
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Required
Neonatal Resuscitation Program Required
Certified Emergency Nurse Certified Critical Care Nurse Certified Flight RN Certified Transport RN Certified Neonatal Pediatric Transport or ability to obtain within 18 months of hire Required
Professional certification in CCRN CEN or RNC Preferred
