Head of HSE Execution APAC

Responsibilities / Tasks

The Head of HSE Execution APAC drives the effective implementation and execution of GEAs Health Safety & Environmental programs across all APAC countries. The role focuses on translating Global HSE governance frameworks into consistent practical and measurable operational activities. The position supports leadership across APAC and operational teams to ensure HSE risk reduction regulatory compliance and continuous improvement across all GEA sites and business operations with a strong focus on embedding a culture of safety.

• Execute and operationalize HSE programs processes and standards across APAC in alignment with Group HSE Governance and Division Q&HSE representatives
• Indirectly lead country HSE managers
• Provide expert HSE support to operational leaders managers and field teams to ensure effective risk management and compliance
• Monitor the implementation of GEAs Integrated Management System including audits inspections corrective actions and performance tracking as well as sufficient HSE staffing levels on country/local level
• Support operations with incident investigation root causes analysis reporting and ensuring high-quality corrective & preventative actions
• Partner with governance and local HSE teams to ensure legal and regulatory compliance
• Support collection review analysis and reporting of HSE performance indicators to the Head of Q&HSE and group stakeholders
• Provide coaching and capability-building to operational leaders supervisors and employees to strengthen HSE competence
• Represent APAC in the Global HSE Council sharing feedback best practices and operational needs with Governance Q&HSE

Your Profile / Qualifications

Educational Background

• Completed engineering or natural science degree
• Specialist in occupational health and safety (e.g. NEBOSH International Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety)
• Trained ISO 14001 and 45001 Auditor

Professional Knowledge and Experiences

• 7 years of experience in HSE roles including operational or filed based experience
• Strong experience implementing and executing HSE programs across multiple sites or countries
• Demonstrated experience with IMS and regulatory compliance
• Experience supporting diverse cultures across APAC is an advantage
• Profound project management skills

Other Skills & Competencies

• Fluent in English further languages in the APAC region are a plus
• Good knowledge of IT systems
• Acts credible committed and fair
• Very good analytical capabilities problem-solving skills and ability to think strategically
• Ability to work autonomously across multiple countries with diverse regulatory contexts
• Membership in a recognized professional safety or occupational health body is desirable
