Castle Biosciences Inc. is growing and we are looking to hire a full-time Laboratory Technician (Inventory) working from our Pittsburgh PA office location with a start date of February 16 2026.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A Laboratory Technician (Inventory)

A typical day for the Laboratory Technician includes daily checks for ordering requests equipment and temperature monitoring and handling of projects related to the success of the inventory department. Tasks for this role are varied in support of the laboratory sites success including collaboration coordination and understanding of several departments onsite both inside and outside of the laboratory. Three main activities this role includes are inventory tracking ordering and invoicing and vendor communication.

REQUIREMENTS

• High school diploma or enrolled in college classes with an excellent GPA
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and EXCEL
• Proven flexibility and dependable performance

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• MLT (AA) recommended not required
• No work experience required; experience in a laboratory setting preferred

Technical Skills

• Strong organizational computer LIMS time management problem-solving and communication skills
• Independent thinker with the ability to read and understand laboratory standard operating procedures (SOPs)
• Familiarity with the laboratory environment and a proactive approach to maintaining smooth operations

SCHEDULE

• Monday through Friday 7:30 am-4 pm. The role may require flexibility to meet operational needs.
