Job Description: Regional Human Resources Manager
Position Summary
TheRegional HR Managersupports multiple branches within an assigned region ensuring consistent HR practices compliance workforce development and leadership support. This role partners closely with Branch Managers Operations Leaders and Manages the HR function both on the field and the corporate office to drive a positive employee experience and strengthen organizational performance across all branches.
Key Responsibilities
HR Leadership & Support
- Manages a team of HR Managers at the branches and Corporate office.
- Provide coaching and guidance on employee relations performance management corrective action and conflict resolution.
- Promote a positive safe and productive workplace culture aligned with company values.
Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning
- Partner with Field Operations Managers Director of Operations and Corporate teams to identify staffing needs based on seasonal fluctuations and business demands.
- Oversee recruiting efforts including interviewing screening and collaborating with recruiters for field and leadership roles.
- Support onboarding processes to ensure consistent new-hire experience at all branches.
Employee Relations & Compliance
- Investigate employee concerns or workplace issues promptly and thoroughly.
- Ensure compliance with federal state and local employment laws (including workers compensation safety regulations and wage standards).
- Maintain accurate HR records and documentation across all branches.
Training & Development
- Assess training needs and coordinate or deliver leadership development safety training and policy education.
- Support career pathing and succession planning for branch leadership and field teams.
- Facilitate communication and rollout of company programs and HR initiatives.
Safety & Workers Compensation
- Partner with Safety teams to support incident investigations and corrective action.
- Manage workers compensation cases ensuring proper documentation reporting and return-to-work processes.
- Promote safety culture across all regional branches.
Performance Management
- Guide leaders through goalsetting performance reviews and progressive discipline.
- Coach managers on effective leadership practices and team development.
- Support organizational changes restructures and workforce alignment.
HR Operations & Reporting
- Monitor HR metrics such as turnover staffing status retention and employee engagement.
- Support payroll corrections leave administration and benefits inquiries.
- Ensure consistency of HR practices and compliance across branches.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business or related fieldOR equivalent experience.
- 5 years of HR generalist or HR management experience preferably in a multi-site environment.
- Strong knowledge of employment law investigations and HR best practices.
- Ability to travel regularly between regional branches.
- Bilingual English and Spanish is Required
Preferred
- Experience in landscaping construction field service or other laborintensive industries.
- SHRMCP/PHR certification.
