Summary:
The Ultrasound Technologist is responsible for performing high-quality diagnostic ultrasound examinations in various long-term care settings. This position is mobile and requires independent scanning experience strong clinical judgment and excellent patient care and communication skills.
Essential Duties:
- Drive between facilities during assigned shift with company provided vehicle.
- Maintain patient safety and comfort delivering exceptional patient care during every exam.
- Perform accurate high-quality diagnostic ultrasound exams per physician orders and clinical protocols.
- Operate ultrasound equipment while maintaining compliance with safety and infection control standards.
- Consistently produce clear accurate images and complete documentation with attention to detail.
Qualifications:- Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program
- ARDMS or CCI registry (minimum of one) or willing to obtain within 3-6 months
- Post-graduation experience performingindependent ultrasoundscanning in both General and Vascular (Venous. Arterial and Carotid) studies (preferred)
- Valid drivers license and good driving record
