Job Summary

Were looking for a Payroll Operations Subject Matter Expert to bring technical payroll expertise strong analytical skills and a collaborative mindset to our highperforming team. What youll be doing:
- Providing expert technical support across payroll processing reporting and operational controls
- Leading on complex payroll queries investigations and escalations
- Supporting system process and control improvements including testing and documentation updates
- Conducting quality checks and monitoring activity to ensure accuracy and risk alignment
- Ensuring regulatory legislative and internal process requirements are understood and applied
- Identifying and recommending opportunities for continuous improvement across teams
- Supporting colleagues with consistent training guidance and technical knowledge
- Contributing SME insight to projects audits initiatives and wider business engagement
Qualifications :
Who were looking for:
- Strong experience in pension payroll environments ideally with 10000 volume processing
- Solid understanding of payroll processes reconciliations exceptions management and variance analysis
- Confidence in analysing and interpreting financial and technical payroll data
- Ability to engage influence and collaborate with colleagues across different teams
- Strong awareness of payroll regulation risk and controls
- Ability to apply sound judgement and problemsolving in complex scenarios
- Commitment to delivering fair customer outcomes and embedding Conduct Risk principles
- Adaptability initiative and a positive approach to change and continuous improvement
