This is an outstanding opportunity for a senior vet looking to combine clinical excellence with leadership and strategic influence while remaining hands-on in practice.
The Team & Environment
The practice is well equipped with multiple consulting rooms separate dog and cat wards surgical theatre dental suite X-ray facilities and a bright welcoming reception. A strong emphasis is placed on fear-free handling and high clinical standards.
The Role
The Lead Veterinary Surgeon plays a key role in the overall performance and direction of the clinic with responsibility across clinical leadership team development and operational performance. Reporting to the Regional Director the Lead Vet works closely with central support teams while retaining autonomy at clinic level.

Clinical Responsibilities

Maintain and promote best-in-class clinical standards

Lead PAS accreditation and ensure compliance with VCI regulations
-
Support surgical development within the team
-
Champion preventative healthcare and transparent client communication
-
Work closely with the Head Nurse to deliver outstanding patient care
Candidate Profile
-
MVB qualification and registration (or eligibility) with the VCI
-
Proven experience in a senior or leadership veterinary role
-
Strong surgical interest and confidence
-
Excellent communication decision-making and people leadership skills
-
Commercial awareness and ability to work autonomously
-
Professional approachable and team-oriented mindset
Additional qualifications in leadership finance or advanced clinical practice are advantageous.
