Overview

Zinkworks is seeking a Technical Lead with strong experience designing and delivering Google Cloud Platform (GCP) native solutions. The successful candidate will lead complex development initiatives mentor engineering teams and deliver scalable cloud-native applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and delivery of GCP-native solutions for large-scale enterprise platforms.

  • Architect and develop cloud-native applications using Java and Python.

  • Provide technical leadership across complex development projects ensuring best practices in architecture and code quality.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including AI/ML QA and data engineering teams.

  • Guide teams in implementing scalable resilient and secure distributed systems.

  • Mentor developers and support the adoption of modern engineering practices and review and approve code.

  • Act as Product Owner to the internal design team creating and maintaining the sprint backlog for development.

  • Create user stories with low-level design for implementation.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Strong experience building GCP-native solutions.

  • Advanced development experience with Java and Python.

  • Experience in developing REST-based microservices.

  • Experience in developing AI agents using Google ADK or Langchain.

  • Experience leading complex software development projects or teams.

  • Strong understanding of microservices architecture and cloud-native design patterns.

  • Experience working with distributed systems and large-scale data processing.

  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and cloud-native development tooling.

Desirable Skills

  • Experience working with AI/ML or data-driven platforms.

  • Experience delivering telecom or large-scale cloud applications.

  • Knowledge of containerisation technologies (Docker Kubernetes).
