Overview
Zinkworks is seeking a Technical Lead with strong experience designing and delivering Google Cloud Platform (GCP) native solutions. The successful candidate will lead complex development initiatives mentor engineering teams and deliver scalable cloud-native applications.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the design and delivery of GCP-native solutions for large-scale enterprise platforms.
Architect and develop cloud-native applications using Java and Python.
Provide technical leadership across complex development projects ensuring best practices in architecture and code quality.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including AI/ML QA and data engineering teams.
Guide teams in implementing scalable resilient and secure distributed systems.
Mentor developers and support the adoption of modern engineering practices and review and approve code.
Act as Product Owner to the internal design team creating and maintaining the sprint backlog for development.
Create user stories with low-level design for implementation.
Required Skills & Experience
Strong experience building GCP-native solutions.
Advanced development experience with Java and Python.
Experience in developing REST-based microservices.
Experience in developing AI agents using Google ADK or Langchain.
Experience leading complex software development projects or teams.
Strong understanding of microservices architecture and cloud-native design patterns.
Experience working with distributed systems and large-scale data processing.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and cloud-native development tooling.
Desirable Skills
Experience working with AI/ML or data-driven platforms.
Experience delivering telecom or large-scale cloud applications.
Knowledge of containerisation technologies (Docker Kubernetes).
