We are excited to announce the creation of an Employee Development Coordinator position within our plant. This Company appointed hourly role has been designed to enhance the support and development of our workforce playing a key part in ensuring our team is fully equipped to meet the demands of our operations. The introduction of this position reflects our commitment to continuous improvement and investment in the growth and well-being of our employees.
The Employee Development Coordinator will focus on a wide range of responsibilities working directly with team members across the plant to promote a safe positive productive and engaged work environment. This role is crucial in maintaining smooth operations fostering employee success and driving our plants overall performance.
Primary Duties will include but are not limited to:
- Onboarding and Integration of New Hires: Assisting new team members from day one ensuring a seamless transition into their roles and guiding them through their early development to set them up for long-term success.
- Employee Issues and Follow-Ups: Help facilitate the improvement of the training and onboarding program by documenting and sharing employee feedback and improvement opportunities with the management team.
- Training Checklist Management: Overseeing and ensuring the completion and accuracy of training programs with regular follow-ups to confirm employees are properly equipped with the skills and knowledge necessary for their roles.
- Employee Engagement Initiatives: Working closely with employees to strengthen engagement identify areas for improvement and develop initiatives that encourage a positive and collaborative working atmosphere.
- Strategic Performance Initiatives: Working closely with department management on the implementation and roll out of strategic initiatives that will improve St. Louiss value proposition to our customers. Such tasks may include (but are not limited to) shipping/receiving appointments safety improvement initiatives 6-S standardization and participating in layered process auditing.
