Purpose of role:
This role will be responsible to maintain and develop sales growth through first fit project for all John Crane product portfolio in Indonesia
Key Activities:
To promote and sell John Crane Products in accordance with the company policy pricing guidelines and regulations.
To prepare quotation of John Crane products for customer under account. Negotiating tender contract terms and close Sales.
Keep constant and updated communication with the regional Project and Sales teams to assure an effective coordination.
In conjunction with the local sales organization regularly meet the involved EPC / OEM
Providing an explanation to the various customer parties of any pre-engineered agreements (e.g. agreed between John Crane and the end-user) which may apply on the project
Resolution of any conflict between the pre-engineered agreement and the contractor or OEM standard specification
Support any technical / commercial explanation and justification of John Crane product selections / prices / terms to the customer
Discussing and resolving any technical or commercial conflicts which may arise at any stage
Liaising between the customer and the internal John Crane teams (Sales Eng and Ops ) on any changes initiated by the customer after original design approval
Recording project milestones and maintaining records of project correspondence
Attending clarification / kick-off meetings etc. and prepare and distribute relevant activity reports.
Discussing and agreeing with the customer on item batching to support OPS activity
Ensure transmit of all correct information to CPG
Active involvement in the delivery of goods invoicing and collections on payment from the customers.
To provide monthly report activity
Building good rapport of John Crane in front of customer
Adhere to Safety procedure and policies in accordance with safety management system. Including:
Active participation and contribution to specific safety initiatives in meetings.
Report all hazardous and unsafe acts.
Actively promote positive safety culture.
Adhere to Quality procedure and policies in accordance with the Integrated ISO Management System (9001; 14001; 45001) (where applicable) quality assurance system. Including:
Compliance to work instructions.
Raising corrective actions for all non-conformances.
Identifying areas requiring improvement and / or audit
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications :
Experience
Min 2 years experience in similar capacity
Technical Skills
Diploma/Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering (preferred)
Sound knowledge of rotating and process equipment knowledge of mechanical seals
People Skills
Ability to effectively manage and communicate in both written and spoken English
