Job Summary

We are now looking for a Medical Cross-Immunology Lead to drive cross-immunology medical strategies and initiatives in Finland.

In this role you will be responsible for leading coordinating and facilitating the strategic development tactical implementation and planning of all medical affairs activities related to cross-immunology brand strategies. You will work closely with the Head of Medical Affairs and Medical Advisors managing medical projects standard of care initiatives and supporting the pipeline for new immunology assets. Your role also includes acting as a subject matter expert and main point of contact for pipeline indications and assets for both external and internal stakeholders collaborating across functions and supporting in-field teams. You will report to the Head of Medical Affairs and be located in Helsinki.

As Medical Cross-Immunology Lead you will:

  • Lead and execute cross-immunology medical activities in line with brand and functional medical plans.
  • Drive and support standard of care projects and evidence generation across immunology TAs such as gastroenterology and dermatology.
  • Integrate local real-world evidence (RWE) into medical planning and maximize project impact on care standards.
  • Ensure timely medical/scientific preparations for pipeline immunology indications and serve as the subject matter expert for new assets both internally and externally.
  • Act as primary medical contact for immunology-related RWE activities and collaborate closely with local evidence team.
  • Collaborate with in-field team members to implement cross-functional medical activities.
  • Provide input for clinical feasibility and site selection for new clinical studies maintaining close relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure complete hand-over of pipeline medical plans before product launch to therapy area medical teams.
  • Operate in line with all company policies codes of conduct and applicable legislation.

Qualifications :

  • Academic biomedical degree (MD PharmD or PhD in natural sciences).
  • Minimum 5 years of medical affairs experience within the pharmaceutical industry; experience in immunology is highly preferred.
  • Experience with pipeline assets and product launches is considered an asset.
  • At least 2 years of in-field medical experience preferred.
  • Fluent in Finnish and English (both written and spoken).
  • Ability to navigate complex matrix organizations and work cross-functionally.
  • Strong business acumen strategic thinker and effective communicator with excellent stakeholder management skills.
