Job Summary
In accordance with the company policy on AI project procurement from outsourcing suppliers has been addition this procurement position is becoming more important in the current market situation. The scale of procurement is expected to continue to grow in the future and human resources must be allocated to promote procurement activities.
Key Responsibilities
Category management
- Responsible for management of suppliers in the allocated category.
- Building relationships with suppliers and coordinating with related internal departments.
Supplier commercial contact
- Procurement strategy planning.
- Price negotiation with suppliers.
- Selection of optimal suppliers through RFI/RFQ.
- Negotiation to secure capacity (Management and issuance of long-term demand forecast securing capacity allocation from suppliers).
- Lead contracts on commercial conditions with suppliers.
Cost analysis and control
- Benchmarking price between assigned suppliers and market/competitor price.
- Reporting spending/saving.
Support as Global Procurement team
- Communication with global stakeholders.
Project Development
- Responsible for communication with component and module suppliers.
- Control key milestone during project execution.
- Conduct daily follow-ups and clarify technical specifications and commercial forecasts internally.
- Negotiate investment plans and finalize agreements with strategic suppliers.
Qualifications :
- Masters Degree in a related field is required.
- Experience in semiconductor industry is required.
- Above 5 years of Experience in assembly or module manufacturing companies is required.
- Excellent verbal and written skills in English required.
- Good communication skills are recommended.
- Strong analytical skills and independent capability.
- Process oriented and structured in thinking and execution.
- Above 3 years of procurement or sales experience in foundry or OSAT companies is plus.
