What youd be doing in this role
As Canva continues to scale partnerships play a critical role in driving cultural relevance growth and brand impact. As Head of Partnerships North America youll lead Canvas regional partnerships strategy during a key coverage period ensuring momentum across our 2026 priorities.
Reporting into Canvas Global Head of Consumer Marketing this role blends strategic leadership with hands-on execution. Youll guide a portfolio of high-impact regional partnerships working cross-functionally to deliver integrated programs that drive measurable outcomes in North America.
At the moment this role is focused on:
- Leading the North American Partnerships function during the fixed-term coverage period acting as the primary regional point of contact internally and externally
- Driving strategy and execution across existing partnerships using data and performance metrics to inform decisions and outcomes
- Developing and delivering regional executions for globally led partnerships where relevant
- Partnering closely with internal teams across marketing campaigns experiential content legal and finance to deliver integrated programs
- Managing partner relationships end-to-end ensuring clear communication strong governance and on-time delivery
- Providing visibility into progress risks and recommendations and ensuring a smooth handover at the end of the contract
Youre probably a match if:
- You bring 12 years of experience across partnerships business development or client services
- Youve successfully scoped and delivered high-impact strategic partnerships in fast-moving environments
- You have a strong understanding of the entertainment and media marketing landscape; experience with B2B marketing or programming is a bonus
- Youre a confident relationship builder who can influence align and create clarity across senior stakeholders
- You thrive in ambiguity stay highly organised and can juggle multiple partners and priorities at once
- Youre excited by Canvas mission and passionate about partnerships that drive both cultural relevance and business impact

The target salary range for this position is $199000 to $246000 USD (pro-rata). When calculating offers we make salary decisions based on market data and candidates skills and experience.
