Learning and Development Advisor

What youll be doing

• Provide ongoing learning and development advice to Service Personnel throughout their careers.
• Promote and support access to funded external learning opportunities including e-learning.
• Find new ways to promote LDO Hub services using a range of media and materials.
• Work with LDO colleagues to deliver L&D interviews schedule Hub events and support learners.
• Provide learning resources and maintain accurate education records in JPA.
• Coordinate and approve learning credit schemes for eligible learners.
• Organise promote and deliver annual L&D open days and unitlevel briefings.
• Raise awareness of Resettlement support and provide 2nd Line Resettlement guidance in line with policy.

What were looking for:

Essential:

• Strong verbal written and presentation skills - able to explain complex processes and provide clear and concise advice in dealings with the customer
• Plan and prioritise resources effectively able to demonstrate effective planning and delivery of operational priorities
• Proficiency in IT be proficient in Microsoft Office (M365) applications
• Strong Administration experience

Desirable:

• Any qualification in education and teaching or learning and development (or equivalent)
• Experience of qualifications in Coaching & Mentoring
