Job Summary
2 Auto Group is seeking an experienced Automotive Controller to join our team in Albuquerque NM. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive finance and accounting with specific expertise usingDealertrack systems to streamline dealership operations and financial reporting. This role is vital in managing the financial health of the dealership and ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all accounting functions including accounts payable accounts receivable payroll and general ledger.
- Utilize Dealertrack software to manage financial transactions and ensure accurate reporting.
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements budgets and forecasts.
- Coordinate with auditors and manage regulatory compliance.
- Manage cash flow and banking relationships.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management for operational improvements.
- Ensure dealership compliance with automotive industry standards and corporate policies.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Automotive Controller or similar financial leadership role within a dealership environment.
- Demonstrated expertise with Dealertrack software.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles standards and regulations.
- Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
- Ability to communicate financial information clearly to diverse groups.
- Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related field preferred.
- CPA certification is a plus.
