About the role

We are looking for an IT Business Analyst with significant experience to join the Information Technology Applications team at Merri-bek City Council.

This role is key to provide business analysis support for our IT related projects and initiatives. You will need strong stakeholder engagement skills to enable development of business requirements research solutions manage procurement processes and implement changes to business processes and project delivery services.

Skills and experience require to perform the role

  • Substantial Business Analysis experience.
  • Relevant qualifications in Business Management Information Systems Finance or Business Analysis or significant experience in Business Analysis Project Management or Change Management.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication presentation and facilitation skills with the ability to liaise with a variety of internal and external contacts.

Desirable

  • Experience working in a regulated environment such as local government is highly desirable.
  • Significant experience with Change Management highly desirable.
