We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic Compliance Specialist to join our Quality Assurance Team of the Compliance Function.
The responsibility of this team is to run local quality assurance activities that include Second Line Monitoring (SLM) Independent Testing activities (incl. Key Control Testing) QA Thematic Reviews QA Continuous Monitoring and Process Reviews as well as contributing to Business Line or Group QA-driven initiatives. The outcomes of the QA activities play a key role in bringing the Compliance function and the 1st line to the next quality level.
You will hierarchically report into the local Lead of Quality Assurance
Your key responsibilities:
As a CQA Compliance specialist you will:
You manage and monitor the progress and status of the annual Compliance Monitoring plan coordinating a robust reporting process.
You perform quality assurance processes on two different fronts:
independent testing of the 1st and 2nd line monitoring so to assure the quality of the controls in place and
independent review of the compliance processes on a risk-based approach through thematic process and continuous QA.
You execute tests/reviews and elaborate results from different Key Control Testing (KCT) and QA initiatives and provide consolidated reporting to Business Line Compliance and Group Compliance as required and in line with Compliance Monitoring and QA methodology processes and formats.
You are responsible to perform a priority assessment and to contribute to a local Monitoring Plan which includes KCT SLM Testing and QA activities the execution of the plan and the articulation of areas of improvement and best practices (QA activities include: Thematic Review Continuous Monitoring and Process Reviews).
You are responsible to conduct the Compliance Charter & E2E Framework review at local level (e.g. branch implementation of Compliance framework pillars) report observations best practices to branch management (e.g. CEO HoC) and local Compliance.
You provide QA related input for the NFRC NFRD and other committees and reportings.
The QA activities use a variety of methods and techniques in line with the QA guidelines established by the Group Compliance QA team including an increasingly use of data analysis and reporting automation tools.
You implement and use the QA dedicated ING tool in relation to the QA activities.
You share and spread the lessons learned gained from the performed reviews.

Essential Skills
Design and production of reports and dashboards using Power BI ensuring clear visualization of QA results and compliance metrics.
Automation of workflows and reporting processes through Power Automate improving efficiency and reducing manual tasks.
Experience developing automations or reports that support QA compliance or risk management activities.
Familiarity with analytical tools and methodologies for continuous improvement and early risk identification.
Valuable Skills
Advanced data analysis and modeling leveraging Knime supporting thematic reviews and continuous monitoring with robust insights
Ability to translate complex data results into clear narratives for presentation to various stakeholders.
Ability to integrate data from multiple sources and create dynamic interactive reporting solutions for stakeholders.

How to succeed
You are an experienced senior professional with a 3-6 years in Compliance or Audit area (e.g. compliance audit risk function);
Background in Investment products will be valued;
You have experience in Big4;
You hold a university degree;
You have relevant knowledge of the risks and processes within Financial Crime Compliance Organisational and Conduct Compliance and Employees Compliance and Ethics;
You have an investigative mindset with an understanding of audit methodologies;
You have (data) analytical skills and sound judgement;
You have a can do mentality and are able to embrace challenges in a fast changing and complex environment;
You have an excellent level of Spanish and English (verbal/written);
You are a team player with strong interpersonal skills who is able to operate in a diversified and multicultural work environment
You are flexible and adaptable to changes that might occur in the monitoring process.

Realizar evaluaciones de priorización y contribuir al Monitoring Plan local que integra actividades de KCT SLM Testing y QA además de ejecutar el plan y proponer áreas de mejora y buenas prácticas (incluyendo Thematic Review Continuous Monitoring y Process Reviews).
Realizar la revisión del Compliance Charter & E2E Framework a nivel local (como la implementación de los pilares de Compliance en la sucursal) y reportar observaciones y buenas prácticas a la dirección de la sucursal (p. ej. CEO HoC) y al equipo local de Compliance.
Proporcionar insumos relacionados con QA para el NFRC NFRD y otros comités y reportes.
Utilizar distintos métodos y técnicas conforme a las directrices de QA definidas por Group Compliance QA incluyendo un uso creciente de análisis de datos y herramientas de automatización de reportes.
Implementar y utilizar la herramienta de QA dedicada de ING en relación con las actividades del área.
Compartir y difundir los aprendizajes derivados de las revisiones realizadas.
