Regional Sales Director
Role Summary
The Sales Manager Manager Food Service will be responsible for developing and growing the revenue in Kuwait. The role focuses on acquiring and managing food service accounts driving sales growth and ensuring strong customer relationships. The position is based in Dubai initially (negotiable) and requires regular travel to Kuwait.
Key Responsibilities
Market Development & Sales Growth
- Develop and execute sales strategies to grow the food service business in Kuwait.
- Identify prospect and onboard new key food service customers.
- Expand business with existing Sales Managers to maximize revenue and market presence.
Distributor & Sales Manager Management
- Build and maintain strong long-term relationships with distributors and strategic customers.
- Act as the main point of contact for Sales Managers ensuring alignment with commercial objectives.
- Manage joint business plans and performance reviews with distributors and major clients.
Product & Solution Presentation
- Present the companys products and solutions effectively highlighting value and competitive advantages for the food service market.
- Support product launches and promotional activities in coordination with internal teams.
Negotiation & Contract Management
- Lead commercial negotiations and finalize agreements in line with company pricing and margin targets.
- Ensure contracts terms and conditions comply with company policies.
Sales Operations & Reporting
- Use CRM and sales tracking systems to manage pipeline activities and forecasts.
- Prepare regular sales reports forecasts and market updates for management.
Market & Customer Insight
- Monitor market trends competitor activity and customer needs in Kuwait.
- Provide market insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.
Required Experience & Qualifications
Experience
- Minimum 5 years of sales experience in the food service or food industry.
- Mandatory experience in Kuwaiti market.
- Proven track record in Sales Manager management distributor management or B2B sales.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong negotiation communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to build and sustain high-level customer and distributor relationships.
- Commercial mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Comfortable working under pressure and meeting ambitious sales targets.
Technical & Systems Skills
- Experience using CRM or sales tracking systems for pipeline and performance management.
Cultural & Market Knowledge
- Solid understanding of Kuwait business culture and regional food service dynamics.
- Ability to operate effectively across different GCC market environments.
Additional Requirements
- Based in Dubai initially with frequent travel to Kuwait.
- Valid driving license and willingness to travel as required.
