The Contracting Specialist supports the Legal department by managing contract review regulatory compliance licensing and prequalification activities across Soil-Nail Holdings LLC and its affiliated entities. This role serves as a central point of coordination for subcontract reviews licensing/registration matters internal approvals and thirdparty compliance requests working closely with the Director of Legal Affairs and crossfunctional stakeholders.
Responsibilities
Contract Review & Administration
- Perform firstlevel reviews and redlines of subcontract agreements vendor contracts and projectspecific agreements flagging legal and commercial issues for escalation and review.
- Track and manage contract revisions client/vendor rejections and followups to resolution.
- Maintain and update contract tracking spreadsheets and status logs for internal visibility.
Entity & Corporate Compliance Support
- Maintain entitylevel records including addresses officers directors and jurisdictional information.
- Assist with Delegation of Authority updates and supporting documentation in coordination with Legal and Finance.
- Support corporate compliance initiatives by organizing and maintaining SharePointbased repositories and internal reference materials
Insurance Surety & Tax Support
- Coordinate responses to insurance bonding and surety requests including providing entity data and authorized signatory information.
- Assist with taxrelated documentation requests (e.g. W9s IRS forms EIN confirmations) in collaboration with Legal and Finance.
CrossFunctional Coordination
- Act as a liaison between Legal and internal teams (Sales Operations Procurement Finance) to triage requests and ensure proper routing.
- Participate in recurring process improvement and contract workflow meetings with Legal leadership
- Communicate directly with external vendors contractors clients and consultants regarding contract and compliance matters
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Completed Bachelors Degree required
- 1 years experience supporting contract review compliance licensing or legal operations (construction infrastructure or regulated industries strongly preferred)
- Strong written communication skills including the ability to summarize contract issues and explain rejections or proposed language
- Proficiency with Excel and document management systems (SharePoint experience preferred)
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple concurrent deadlines
- Comfort working across multiple legal entities and jurisdictions
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience with construction subcontracts DOT or rail prequalification processes or contractor licensing
- Familiarity with insurance bonding and surety documentation
- Experience supporting inhouse legal teams or corporate counsel

The expected base pay range for this position in the Colorado area is $68000-$80000 Salary ranges are dependent on a variety of factors including qualifications experience and geographic location. Range is not inclusive of potential bonus or benefits.
