Job Title: Locum - Physician - Otolaryngology
Summary: Join a well-respected Level II Trauma Center in Kearney Nebraska facing a shortage of ENT Physicians. This opportunity is for weekend coverage ensuring critical ENT services remain available at this bustling facility.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide on-call ENT coverage as needed by trauma and emergency department physicians.
- Perform required procedures including adenoidectomy audiogram lump/tumor removal and tonsillectomy.
- Collaborate with support staff including Anesthesia and CRNA in various surgical settings.
- Maintain accurate patient records using EMR system EPIC.
- Adhere to hospital protocols to uphold Level II Trauma Center status.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified in Otolaryngology - REQUIRED
- Must hold or be eligible for a Nebraska medical license (Compact license acceptable) - REQUIRED
- DEA registration - REQUIRED
- CLEAN malpractice history - REQUIRED
- Self-Query NPDB report dated within 30 days of presentation - REQUIRED
License and Certification Requirements:
- Board certification in Otolaryngology is mandatory.
- A valid Nebraska medical license or the ability to obtain one within a few months.
- DEA registration must be valid and current.
- Maintain a clean malpractice history.
