Salary: $19.75 Summary of Job Responsibilities: The Development Assistant supports ASUCLAs fundraising donor engagement and development operations. This entry-level role focuses on learning ASUCLAs mission departments and fundraising systems while providing essential administrative research and campaign support. Due to the long-term nature of fundraising grant cycles and donor relationships this position is intended for students who can commit to 34 consecutive academic quarters supporting continuity and sustained impact. Key Responsibilities: - Assist with donor research prospect lists and data entry
- Support CRM (EveryAction) activities including record updates tagging and reporting
- Help prepare fundraising materials donor communications and event collateral
- Assist with donation page reviews and basic content updates
- Support grant research by identifying funding opportunities and deadlines
- Provide logistical and administrative support for fundraising events and campaigns
- Take notes and assist with meeting preparation as needed
- Learn ASUCLA departments programs and student services to accurately communicate impact
Student Learning Outcomes: The Development Assistant will have the unique opportunity to learn about the growing and diverse field of Development (also known as fundraising or philanthropy) within the nonprofit and higher education sectors. This position will expose you to procedural institutional technical and financial knowledge related to nonprofit fundraising. Additionally you will be tasked with managing relationships with donors and learn best practices regarding programming event planning and communications. Qualifications: - UCLA-enrolled student
