PRIMARY PURPOSE:
To coordinate support and strengthen fine arts and enrichment programs across the district by aligning curriculum resources and programming with district priorities state standards and student needs.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education/Certification:
Bachelors degree required; Masters degree preferred.
Valid Texas teaching certificate.
Special Knowledge/Skills:
Strong understanding of fine arts education and enrichment programming.
Ability to collaborate effectively with campus leaders educators and district staff.
Strong organizational communication and planning skills.
Ability to analyze program data and support continuous improvement.
Experience:
Minimum of five years of experience in fine arts education enrichment programming or related instructional leadership roles.
Experience supporting multiple campuses or districtwide initiatives preferred.
Knowledge of fine arts programs enrichment opportunities and applicable state of UIL requirements.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
Fine Arts
- Serves as the district coordinator for Fine Arts Enrichment Physical Education (P.E.) and University Interscholastic League (UIL) programs.
- Ensures consistency quality and alignment of fine arts P.E. library and UIL programs across campuses.
- Supports campus administrators in the development implementation and evaluation of fine arts and enrichment programming.
- Ensures programs are aligned with state standards district curriculum expectations and instructional priorities.
- Collaborates with campus leaders and educators to support effective instructional practices and appropriate use of instructional resources.
- Ensures compliance with applicable state regulations UIL requirements and district guidelines including required documentation and reporting.
- Coordinates district participation in performances exhibitions competitions and enrichment events.
- Plans and facilitates professional learning and promotes collaboration and sharing of effective practices across campuses.
- Uses participation data and program feedback to inform planning continuous improvement and expanded access to fine arts and enrichment opportunities.

Ability to plan organize and evaluate programs projects and services and implement changes in methods and techniques as needed. Ability to communicate effectively (verbal and written); ability to interpret policy procedures and data; coordinate district functions; maintain emotional control under stress.
Physical Demands/Environmental Factors:
Frequent district and some statewide travel in personal vehicle; occasional overnight travel; frequent prolonged and irregular hours; repetitive hand motions prolonged use of computer; ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
