We are committed to helping our patients attain overall wellness in body mind and spirit. Job Description: The primary responsibility of the Transporter is to support the ASC in transporting and assisting patients around the building. Transporters will be able to empathize with patients while remaining professional. Transporters will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe work environment. Job Responsibilities: - Transport patients to and from different areas of the building; from surgery to clinic to waiting areas
- Clean and sanitize waiting area wheelchairs and frequently touched surfaces
- Assemble patient packets
- Assist with stocking the ASC with materials
- Other duties as assigned
Job Skill & Qualifications: - Must project professionalism in overall presentation and demeanor at all times always focused on representing the ASC to patients the general public and the St. Lukes organization.
- Excellent verbal communication skills with patients and staff.
- Ability to listen and empathize
- Demonstrating patience
- Maintain strict patient confidentiality
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Ability to push wheelchairs
