Job Summary
Role Description
We are looking for an optimistic and passionate individual that will join our Europe & Africa (EU&A) Inventory Control & Demand Management team in Venlo the Netherlands. Our ideal candidate is a true team player that enjoys being part of a young and dynamic team of logistic professionals overseeing all areas of the Supply Chain in our region.
In this role your scope will include:
- Full responsibility for the entire process of demand and transport planning forecasting and managing products throughout their life cycle in various markets
- Analyzing and facilitating the forecasting and inventory planning in the EU&A region acting as focal point for several departments such as Finance Quality Production planning Marketing Sales IT and occasionally our Corporate Value Stream department in the United States
- Maintaining and managing inventory levels for the European markets with a strong focus on service levels and Supply Chain KPI targets
- Executing new product launches product transitions and discontinuations
- Leading the Sales & Operations Planning process for your markets
- Analyzing the performance of sales and inventory levels identifying market trends
- Master Data management in SAP
- Strong focus on quality customer satisfaction processes and Supply Chain costs
Qualifications:
- HBO thinking level
- Logistics degree is a pre
- Strong interpersonal & communication skills
- Well-developed numerical understanding and analytical skills are a must
- Fluency in English both written and verbal
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel especially)
- Experience with SAP is a pre.
