Do you thrive in purpose-driven environments where people patients and learning come first CCNM is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Interim Director Clinic Services (Maternity Leave) to lead the operational excellence of our teaching clinics across both the Toronto and Boucher this leadership role you will oversee multiple clinical sites support interdisciplinary teams and partner closely with academic and clinical leaders to ensure our clinics are efficient professional and aligned with CCNMs educational mission. In this challenging position you will report to the Dean Academics and be responsible for:

JOB RESPONSIBLITIES:

General Clinic Operations & Oversight

  • Serve as primary operational point of contact for clinic faculty interns administrators and practitioners
  • In conjunction with Clinic Operations Teams on each campus troubleshoot and resolve day-to-day clinic operational issues (staffing gaps scheduling systems patient flow)
  • Monitor clinic software systems (EMRs scheduling communications platforms) for functionality access and issues
  • Ensure privacy-compliant handling of patient information across all clinic systems
  • Maintain productive safe and efficient clinic environments
  • Demonstrate leadership presence and support staff through real-time decision-making

Financial Reporting & Compliance

  • Complete clinic faculty accruals
  • Review monthly financial statements and submit updates to Finance when asked including:
  • Produce detailed operational and financial reports as requested
  • Review clinic KPIs utilization and shift performance metrics
  • Ensure ongoing privacy compliance checks and documentation
  • Review and update operational documentation or forms as required
  • Support monthly onboarding or orientation activities if applicable

Operations Financial Acumen People & Communication

  • General Oversight of Clinical Administrators
  • Review and respond to emerging concerns or complaints related to clinic operations
  • Participate in various committees
  • Complete clinic faculty accruals
  • Review monthly financial statements and submit updates to Finance as required
  • Prepare and manage annual clinic operations budgets
  • Other Duties as Assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Management experience in a clinical setting or educational clinical setting
  • Post-secondary degree in related field (business administration health care management etc.)
  • Familiarity with Provincial and Federal legislature policies governing the Naturopathic profession in Ontario and British Columbia including Personal Health Information Protection Act in Ontario Personal information protection Act in BC E-Health Act in BC Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act in BC and PIPEDA
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to deal effectively both orally and in writing- with individuals at all levels within the organization
  • Demonstrable computer skills including Microsoft Office
  • Excellent organization time management analytical and research skills
  • Tact discretion and ability to exercise professional judgment in a highly confidential environment
