ABOUT THE JOB

Ideal seeks a Warehouse Coordinator to support our warehouse operations and inventory management efficiently. Reporting to the Warehouse & Fleet Manager this role is essential in facilitating the smooth operation of our warehouse contributing to our commitment to exceptional service. The Warehouse Coordinator will handle inventory control support daily operations and ensure the warehouse remains organized and efficient.

WHATS THE JOB

• You will support daily warehouse operations assist with inventory control and support order preparation for the operations department.
• You will assist in managing inventory levels conducting stock checks and coordinating shipments.
• You will demonstrate a basic working knowledge of remediation equipment such as dehumidifiers air movers and related systems with general familiarity in HVAC or appliance repair concepts to support daily warehouse and operational needs.
• You will support the Warehouse & Fleet Manager and team by providing operational assistance maintaining safety and organizational standards.
• You will collaborate with various departments (accounting people operations and more) to ensure seamless operations.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR

• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting and moving inventory and standing for extended periods is required.
• Experience in a warehouse setting with a good understanding of inventory management and operational support is preferred.
• Basic equipment maintenance skills to perform routine upkeep and minor repairs on warehouse equipment as part of standard job responsibilities. Simple machine repair competency and experience strongly preferred.
• Basic computer proficiency for inventory tracking data entry and using warehouse management systems as part of daily operations.
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent attention to detail particularly in inventory control stock counts and order accuracy.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and communicate effectively with colleagues across different departments.
• Flexibility to work various shifts as needed to support warehouse operations.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is required.

CERTIFICATIONS

• Valid California Drivers License with a satisfactory driving record
• Ideal Will Provide If Needed:
• Forklift Certification
• Training for specific warehouse operations or equipment use

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

These requirements are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job with or without reasonable accommodation:

• Able to stand bend kneel reach stoop and lift up to 50 pounds and occasionally up to 150 pounds with assistance.
• Capability to stand and walk for extended periods often the entire shift which could be 8 hours or longer.
• Frequent bending twisting kneeling stooping crouching and crawling to access or move goods and to perform tasks at different heights or levels.
• Ability to climb ladders or steps to reach merchandise stored at various heights.
• Capability to operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts pallet jacks and hand trucks safely and efficiently.
• Understanding and adherence to safety procedures and protocols to prevent accidents and injuries.
• Have access to reliable transportation to get to work.

BENEFITS & COMPENSATION

• Hourly rate of $25.00 - $28.00 (DOE)
• Generous medical dental and 401k other ancillary benefits are available for employees and their dependents. Ideal covers 100% of employee and 25% of dependent medical insurance premiums (basic plan) with additional options available.
