Pay Information: Salary Range: $22.74/hr. to $31.82/hr.

Target Starting Range: $24.00-$26.00/hr.
PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:
This position is responsible for the inspection analysis and grading of raw fruit in accordance with Tree Tops grading standards quality requirements and policies. Responsibilities include timely data entry into designated systems and close collaboration with internal personnel to communicate fruit condition grading results and receiving status. The role supports raw fruit receiving operations by ensuring accurate completion processing and filing of receiving documentation including fruit tickets invoicing and distribution orders.
WORKING RELATIONSHIPS:
This position reports to the Raw Materials Distribution Manager and does not supervise personnel. The position works closely with forklift operators manufacturing plant staff transportation dispatchers fruit procurement quality assurance and planning personnel.
QUALIFICATIONS FOR ENTRY:
KNOWLEDGE OF:
- Working knowledge of fruit varieties.
- Knowledge of lab procedures and analytical testing.
- Working knowledge of HACCP Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) Food Defense and Allergens.
- Principles and practices of effective business communication; basic report writing methods and techniques; correct English usage including spelling grammar and punctuation.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft office suite.
- Pertinent Federal State and local laws codes and regulations.
ABILITY TO:
- Accurately perform basic accounting and mathematical calculations.
- Accurately record shipping/receiving information into M3 software.
- Distinguish varieties of fruit.
- Prepare clear concise and accurate correspondence documents reports and other written materials.
- Read and interpret instructions specifications limits and Tree Tops grading standards and policies.
- Identify research and analyze problems identify alternative solutions and project consequences of proposed actions.
- Learn and understand processes related to Fruit Procurement and Grower Services.
- Effectively organize plan and execute.
- Use computers and computer software including word processing spreadsheets and databases.
- Meet behaviors established in Tree Tops performance management and development process.
EXPERIENCE CERTIFICATION/LICENSES AND TRAINING:
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Prior experience in an agricultural industry is preferred.
- Knowledge of fruit variety is preferred.
