Your future duties and responsibilities:
We are looking for an experienced Python Pyspark Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate should be passionate about coding and developing scalable and high-performance applications. You will work closely with our front-end developers designers and other members of the team to deliver quality solutions that meet the needs of our clients.
Design and develop scalable data engineering solutions using Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and PySpark.
Optimize Spark jobs for performance scalability and efficient resource utilization.
Develop maintain and enhance ETL pipelines using BigQuery Apache Airflow and Cloud Composer.
Collaborate with data scientists analysts and DevOps teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Ensure data integrity and security by implementing data governance compliance and security best practices.
Monitor production workloads troubleshoot performance issues and implement enhancements.
Implement and enforce coding standards best practices and performance tuning strategies.
Support migration activities from on-premises data warehouses to GCP-based solutions.
Mentor junior developers and contribute to knowledge-sharing within the team.
Stay up to date with emerging cloud technologies tools and best practices in the data engineering ecosystem
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
Must Have:
Strong proficiency in Python
Hands-on experience with PySpark and Apache Spark
Experience building ETL pipelines
Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases
Experience working with big data technologies (HDFS Hive etc.)
Understanding of distributed data processing concepts
Familiarity with version control tools like Git
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Good to Have:
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS Azure or GCP)
Knowledge of Spark optimization techniques and performance tuning
Experience with workflow orchestration tools (Airflow
