JOB SUMMARY
To provide instructional and supervisory support to students. ThePermanent Building Substituteis a full-time position from early-February to Mid-May that mains purposes is to fill in for educational or instructional position with the school as needed by the building administration. This positions isan integralpart of the successful day-to-dayoperations of building and support the entire school community.
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Fill in as a classroom teacher educational assistant or support personnelwith the school buildingas assigned by the building principal
- Support the school staff and students
- Be a positive and collaborative member of the school community
- Flexibility and patience are key to success in this role
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School degreerequired Bachelors preferred
- Teaching degree preferred
- Recent experience working with school-age children
- Alternatives to the above qualifications as the Superintendent may find appropriate and acceptable
- Other requirements as deemed necessary by the Superintendent of Schools
REPORTS TO: buildingPrincipal/Assistant Principal
SUPERVISES: Not Applicable
WORK YEAR:Early February-Mid May
COMPENSATION:$165 per day
