Job Summary
Join Our Team as a Physical Therapy Assistant - School Based
Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children Do you have experience in physical therapy and a desire to work in a school setting Teachwell Solutions is seeking a dedicated and motivated Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team in the Sioux Falls area. This position is available for either a June or August start date.
Job Responsibilities:
- Work with students in a school setting to provide physical therapy services as directed by the Physical Therapist
- Assist in the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with teachers parents and other school staff to support students physical development and well-being
- Document and track progress of students receiving physical therapy services
- Participate in team meetings and professional development activities
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program
- Current license or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant in the state of South Dakota
- Experience working with children with disabilities preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
