Job Summary
The Supported LivingService CoordinationManageris a team supervisor working withCoordinatorswho overseeDirect Support Professionals in managing a caseload of participants receiving Supported LivingService CoordinationMangerensures thatparticipantsISP goals are being addressed that contracted hours are being met that the Residential guidelines are followed as well as the Washington Administrative Code specific to residential supports and that participants are supported and empowered to live their lives through their own choices.
Essential Functions
Responsible for teaching Coordinator team how to identify and implement best practice supports to meet participant needsin conjunction with other managers.
HoldindividualSLP Coordinator meetingsto ensure that teams are scheduledservice goals are being addressed staff certifications are current refusals are addressed documentation is complete etc.
Responsible forpayrollsupervisorytasks for assignedSLP but not limitedtoensuring that payroll is accurate updatingpayroll status changes and works with the Finance Department on timely biweekly submission.
Collaborates with HealthCareteamandother leaders within The Arc of King Countyto ensure program compliance and quality careofSupported Living participants.
Assistsin recruiting and trainingnew Coordinators mentors Coordinators andidentifiestrainings applicable to Coordinators supervisory duties.
Works with Coordinatorstoidentifytraining needsfor their staff including working with HR to create performance improvement plans.
Participate in orientations and othertrainingsas needed.
Communicates directly withDDCScase manager regardingparticipantneedsdeveloping issues and ensuring incident reports are submittedin a timely manner.
Responsible for supporting audit preparationfor the Supported living Program.
Regularlymonitorresponsibilities within the Supported Living Programto ensureauditreadiness.
Conducts audits and reports ofparticipantdocumentation to ensure DSP and Coordinator efforts are audit-ready and compliant with state and federal with Coordinators to correct errors and set expectations.
Assists SLPAssistantDirectorand Directorto respond to audit deficiencies and corrective actions.
Monitors andcoachesperformance of Coordinators Conducts Performance Reviews for Coordinators and monitors performance on an ongoing basis.
Works with HR to carryout necessary disciplinary action and termination of underperforming Coordinators.
Maintains anupdated and currentOutlook calendar.
Works with Coordinators to trackparticipantrefusals and reports toDDCS.
Works with Coordinators to ensureparticipants support needs match their Tier making sure that hours billed are equal to Exhibit Cand scheduled DSP hours do not exceed budgeted amount.
Assistin collecting documents related toallinvestigations.
Acts asthe conduit between the SLP Department and Finance DepartmentregardingParticipant needs andRARs and startup expenses.
Attendsagency wide and SLP teammeetingsas needed.
Works withAssistantDirectorto ensure the department isoperatingwithin WAC regulations.
Elevatesissues toAssistantDirectorasnecessary.
Reviewreferrals provides input and managesintakesof newparticipantswith Directorand AssistantDirectorof Supported Living
Works with HR to ensureparticipantshave sufficient staff and that staff will have sufficient training to supportparticipants.
Findshousing forparticipantsas necessary.
Responsible for communicatingtoSLPDirectorswhenparticipants are out of program and whenparticipants return to the program.
Attends meetingsas neededwithexternal agenciesthat provide support toparticipantsto ensureinteragency collaboration on behalf ofparticipantcare.
Step in and perform Coordinator duties when Coordinator isunavailableand/orcannotcover the position.
Responsible for ensuringthat PCSPsand IISPsareupdatedin atimelymanneras per the WAC.
Makes sureparticipantshouse/apartment are meeting the standards needed tomaintaina Seattle/King County/RentonHousing Voucher.
Responsible for effectively prioritizing tasks and asking the Assistant Director forassistanceas needed.
Carries 24-hour emergency phone in rotation with the other members of the SLP Leadership -up on-call manager responsibilities after 6 months of frontline experience

Emotional and physical health sufficient to meet the demands of theposition
Education
High School Diploma or equivalent requiredassociates orbachelorsdegreepreferred.
Minimum Qualifications
Excellent organizational skills attention to detail interpersonal skills
Previousmanagement or supervisory experience
A minimum of two years experience in working with people who have a developmental disability.
Ability to work effectively with individuals of diverse economic ethnic and social backgrounds.
Experience inusing MS Office and databases.
A combination of education experience and measurable performance whichdemonstratesthe capability to perform the duties of thisposition
