Job Overview
In this position you will be an important member of the maintenance electrical team. You will operate within Marvins team-based environment and be responsible for performing Electrician Apprentice tasks at the direction of a licensed electrician working in support of the operational goals of Marvin. This apprentice position is a 2 year commitment with the goal of obtaining a MN Journey Workers Electrical License.
Highlights of your role
- Possess safe work habits and maintain good housekeeping at all times
- Follow work instructions and guidance provided the licensed electrician they are working under.
- Display consistent improvement and accuracy in the performance of electrical trade skills.
- Working in tight spaces and in awkward positions to run wiring and remove old wiring.
- Working at elevations on ladders and aerial lift platforms.
- Willingness to learn and work in other trade skill areas as needed
- Must be detail oriented and able to read prints/drawings
- Must be able to select the proper equipment or tool(s) for the job at hand
- Must flexible and willing to move from job task to job task without hesitation
- Completing ARC flash training within 30 days of start date.
- Willingness to be cross-trained in multiple departments and job roles
Youre a good fit if you have (or if you can)
- Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude and skills
- The ability to learn and understand schematics/prints to complete electrical work
- The ability to work well independently with a focus to get things done right
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to understand facility and production equipment electrical systems.
- Versatility flexibility and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm Drive for results.
- Communication and collaboration skills ability to work cross-functionally

- High school diploma or GED required
- Prior experience in electrical work a plus
