Framestores 2026 Launchpad Internship offers talented and creative individuals a chance to gain hands-on experience at one of Europes leading creative studios. Interns will learn through studio work presentations a personal project and informal meetups while collaborating on real projects with experienced artists and technologists. Previous interns have contributed to shows like One Piece Project Hail Mary & How to Train Your Dragon.
Working within the Film and Episodic division of Framestore as an FX Artist at Framestore youll create CG simulations of naturalistic physical or magical phenomena such as fire water clouds smoke snow physical destruction and particles.
Requirements
A knowledge of Houdini
An understanding of the techniques and technologies relating to FX simulation and procedural animation
A good understanding of the entire visual effects process
Familiarity with Vex and Nuke
Experience producing some effects such as smoke fire water clouds and/or simulation techniques for rigid bodies.
Good communication and organisational skills.
Creative problem-solving abilities.
Eligibility Criteria:
You must be entering the final year of your degree or have graduated in the past 12 months
You must be a UK citizen or have a current resident student or graduate VISA for the duration of the internship
You must be available from 6th July until 29th August 2026
