The Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager Talent Acquisition on a 12 month fixed term contract (parental leave) to lead recruitment and support a small team of Talent Acquisition Specialists across VMCH. This role is critical to ensuring we attract select and retain a values-aligned compliant and sustainable workforce that delivers safe high-quality person-centred care. Youll work closely with managers across the business to manage a variety of recruitment including for high-volume frontline roles strengthen workforce pipelines and ensure recruitment practices meet all regulatory and safeguarding requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver workforce and talent acquisition strategies aligned to service delivery needs
- Oversee values-based recruitment processes that assess empathy cultural competence and commitment to person-centred care
- Lead end-to-end recruitment for all Corporate positions
- Ensure all recruitment and onboarding activities meet legislative regulatory and safeguarding requirements including mandatory compliance checks
- Ability to utilise multiple online resourcing channels to identify engage and attract active and passive candidates
- Manage high-volume recruitment campaigns while maintaining quality compliance and a positive candidate experience
- Partner with leaders and managers as a trusted recruitment advisor
- Provide training and technical support to users of VMCHs various digital recruitment tools
- Lead and develop a small high-performing Talent Acquisition team
- Track and report on various recruitment metrics.
Selection Criteria
Essential:
- Relevant degree or undergraduate qualification
- Proven experience leading and supporting Talent Acquisition teams
- High-level of computer and digital literacy including experience using Applicant Tracking Systems Human Resource Information Systems databases and MS Office
- Experience managing high-volume recruitment and frontline workforces
- Strong stakeholder engagement and advisory skills
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Commitment to confidentiality and compliance.
Desirable:
- Experience in aged care or community services sector
- Understanding of sector compliance screening and safeguarding requirements
- Experience utilising PageUp and SAP SuccessFactors.
