Job Summary
Role Summary
CrewSELECT is seeking experienced Commercial Gardeners to support our client in Nedlandsacross commercial industrial and facilities-managed sites. This role is maintenance-focused with a strong reactive component and includes hands-on irrigation and reticulation duties.
You will be responsible for maintaining high presentation standards responding to reactive maintenance requests and carrying out irrigation fault-finding and repairs across multiple sites.

Key Duties & Responsibilities
Commercial Grounds Maintenance & Installations
- Lawn mowing edging and line trimming on commercial sites
- Pruning hedging and maintenance of shrubs and trees
- Weed control (manual and chemical where certified)
- Mulching fertilising and general garden bed maintenance
- Green waste removal and site clean-up
- Maintain presentation standards in line with client requirements
- Irrigation & Reticulation Installation Maintenance Fault Finding
- Inspect operate and maintain irrigation and reticulation systems
- Fault finding and repair of leaks broken heads solenoids valves and controllers
- Adjust controllers and watering schedules to suit seasonal conditions
- Carry out reactive irrigation repairs as required
- Report major faults or upgrade requirements to supervisors
- Reactive & Asset Maintenance
- Respond to reactive maintenance tasks within required timeframes
- Identify hazards and undertake minor repairs where safe to do so
- Assist with minor hardscape maintenance (pavers edging garden beds)
- Complete job records timesheets and maintenance reports as required
Safety & Compliance
- Comply with all WHS requirements site rules and CrewSELECT policies
- Conduct pre-start checks on tools equipment and vehicles
- Use PPE correctly and maintain a safety-first approach at all times
Skills & Experience Required
- Proven experience in commercial gardening and grounds maintenance
- Strong working knowledge of irrigation and reticulation systems
- Experience in reactive maintenance environments
- Ability to work independently across multiple sites
- Competent with commercial gardening equipment and machinery
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
Licences & Tickets (Essential / Highly Regarded)
- Current Drivers Licence (essential)
- White Card (essential)
- Cert II or III in Horticulture (highly regarded)
- ChemCert / Chemical Handling Ticket (desirable)
- Irrigation qualification or demonstrated experience (highly regarded)
