Our client is looking for a Design Technology Technician to support a busy DT department in a secondary school in Manchester. This is a full-time position starting in April 2026 providing technical and practical support across DT subjects.

The successful DT Technician will play a vital role in preparing materials maintaining equipment and ensuring workshops operate safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
Preparing tools materials and equipment for lessons
Maintaining machinery and workshop equipment
Ensuring compliance with health and safety standards
Managing stock levels and ordering supplies
Supporting displays and student project work
Assisting staff with practical demonstrations
Experience and Qualifications
Experience in a DT workshop or technical environment preferred
Practical skills with tools and machinery
Strong awareness of health and safety
Organised and dependable approach
Legal right to work in the UK
