We are seeking a dynamic creative and enthusiastic Year 5 Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Grays starting ASAP. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced or newly qualified teacher to deliver engaging learning experiences for upper Key Stage 2 pupils and support their academic and personal growth.

As a Year 5 Teacher you will be responsible for planning delivering and assessing lessons across the curriculum. You will create a stimulating learning environment promote positive behaviour and support pupils social emotional and academic development as they prepare for the transition to Year 6.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging lessons across the Year 5 curriculum
Assess monitor and track pupil progress providing targeted support where needed
Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils including SEN
Promote positive behaviour independence and resilience
Support pupils social emotional and personal development
Maintain a safe organised and stimulating classroom environment
Communicate effectively with parents staff and school leadership
Contribute to school events trips and enrichment activities
Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum resources and assessment strategies
Follow safeguarding health and safety and school policies at all times
The Ideal Candidate
The successful candidate will:
Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
Have experience teaching upper Key Stage 2 preferably Year 5
Be passionate creative and committed to high-quality teaching
Have excellent classroom management and organisational skills
Be able to differentiate learning for pupils of varying abilities
Have strong communication and teamwork skills
Be committed to safeguarding and promoting pupil wellbeing
