We are seeking an experienced enthusiastic and dedicated Year 6 Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Basildon starting ASAP. This is a fantastic opportunity for a teacher passionate about preparing upper Key Stage 2 pupils for their transition to secondary school both academically and socially.

As a Year 6 Teacher you will be responsible for planning delivering and assessing lessons across the Key Stage 2 curriculum. You will create a stimulating learning environment promote positive behaviour and support pupils social emotional and academic development.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver high-quality lessons across the Year 6 curriculum
Monitor assess and track pupil progress providing targeted support where needed
Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils including SEN
Promote positive behaviour independence and resilience
Support pupils social emotional and personal development
Maintain a safe organised and stimulating classroom environment
Communicate effectively with parents staff and school leadership
Contribute to school events enrichment activities and extra-curricular programmes
Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum and resources
Follow safeguarding health and safety and school policies at all times
The Ideal Candidate
The successful candidate will:
Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
Have experience teaching upper Key Stage 2 preferably Year 6
Be passionate creative and committed to high-quality teaching
Have excellent classroom management and organisational skills
Be able to differentiate learning for pupils of varying abilities
Have strong communication and teamwork skills
Be committed to safeguarding and promoting pupil wellbeing
