Job Summary

We are looking to appoint a nurturing enthusiastic and dedicated EYFS Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Manchester starting ASAP. This is an excellent opportunity for an Early Years specialist who is passionate about supporting young children at the very start of their learning journey.

The school has a strong focus on inclusion child-led learning and creating a safe stimulating environment where children can thrive academically socially and emotionally. Staff work collaboratively and benefit from supportive leadership and access to ongoing professional development.

As an EYFS Teacher you will plan and deliver engaging play-based learning experiences in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage framework. You will support childrens development across all areas of learning while building strong relationships with pupils parents and colleagues.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver high-quality EYFS lessons and activities

  • Create a safe stimulating and inclusive learning environment

  • Observe assess and track childrens progress using EYFS assessment frameworks

  • Support childrens personal social emotional and communication development

  • Differentiate activities to meet individual learning needs including SEN

  • Work collaboratively with EYFS practitioners and support staff

  • Build positive relationships with parents and carers

  • Maintain accurate records and learning journals

  • Promote positive behaviour and routines

  • Follow safeguarding health and safety and school policies at all times

The Ideal Candidate

The successful candidate will:

  • Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)

  • Have experience teaching within EYFS

  • Have a strong understanding of the EYFS framework

  • Be warm patient and child-focused

  • Be creative organised and reflective in practice

  • Have strong communication and teamwork skills

  • Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
