Job Title: Billing Specialist
Location: Milton Keynes - 2 days per week in the office
6 month Fixed Term Contract
About the role:
We are growing our Finance Team and have a fantastic opportunity for a Billing Specialist to join us initially on a 6 month fixed term contract. This is a dynamic role where youll support the billing activities and inquiries for our UK offices.
The ideal candidate will have worked within a fast-paced finance team with prior billing experience as youll be responsible for producing accurate and timely customer billing. Youll also have exceptional customer service skills as youll be handling invoice queries and credit notes to ensure that revenue and debtors are accurately recorded.
Responsibilities:
Working closely with other areas of the business to ensure that billing requirements are accurately and promptly communicated.
Logging and distributing queries to the correct area of BSI and following up as necessary to enable a speedy resolution to clients queries.
Issuing pro rata and yearly AMF invoices and supporting incoming queries.
Dealing with day-to-day correspondence from clients ensuring prompt responses.
To work as part of the billing team to ensure that all documents are raised promptly and accurately and in accordance with the internal SLAs.
To be successful in this role you must have:
Previous experience within a Billing or similar finance role.
Experience with manual billing processes.
Proven ability to deliver a high standard of customer service in a high-volume operating business.
Good numerical skills and experience of using Excel with the confidence to make tables and understand them.
Excellent attention to detail.
An aptitude to understand and assist with accounting entries.
Ability to respond to queries politely and promptly dealing effectively with challenging situations.
Proactive and organised mindset in ensuring that billing is accurate to minimise queries or errors.
