About The Role

As a Product Engineer at RavenPack youll own features end-to-endfrom understanding user problems to shipping production code. You wont just build whats specified; youll figure out what to build. Youll work directly with customers move fast and iterate based on real feedback and data.

This role sits at the intersection of engineering and product. Youll collaborate closely with product managers designers and data teams but youll also talk directly to users question assumptions and champion solutions that solve real problems. Youre equally comfortable diving deep into technical implementation and zooming out to consider the user experience and business impact.

The main challenges include navigating the fast-moving agentic AI landscape understanding the unique workflows of financial professionals and building interfaces that surface complex data in intuitive ways. Key collaboration will be with various product squads focused on building .

This role offers a hybrid work environment in our Marbella or Madrid offices.

YOUR RAMP-UP JOURNEY

In your first month you can expect to ship your first feature to production. Youll familiarize yourself with our tech stack product architecture and user personas. Youll shadow customer calls to understand how financial professionals use our platform and where the pain points are.

After six months youll own a significant area of the product. Youll have shipped multiple features that directly impact user metrics. Youll be a go-to person for understanding how your area worksboth technically and from a user perspective. Youll actively contribute to product roadmap discussions and mentor other engineers on product thinking.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Own features end-to-end: from problem discovery through design implementation deployment and iteration

• Ship high-quality production-ready code across the full stack (frontend backend APIs data)

• Talk directly to users and customers to deeply understand their workflows and pain points

• Define and track success metrics; iterate rapidly based on usage data and feedback

• Collaborate with product design and data teams to define the right solutions

• Make pragmatic tradeoffs between speed quality and technical debt

• Contribute to architectural decisions and technical direction of the platform

QUALIFICATIONS

• 3-5 years of software engineering experience with a track record of shipping features that users love

• Full-stack proficiency: comfortable working across frontend (React/TypeScript) backend (Python ) APIs (REST/GraphQL) and databases

• Strong product intuitionyou question why before how and care deeply about solving real user problems

• Comfortable with ambiguity: you thrive in fast-paced environments where requirements evolve

• Customer obsession: you genuinely enjoy talking to users and translating their needs into solutions

• Excellent communication skills: you can articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders

DESIRABLE / NICE TO HAVE

• Experience in fintech financial data or B2B SaaS products

• Experience building AI/ML-powered products or agentic interfaces

• Familiarity with API-first product development and developer-facing tools

• Experience with MCP (Model Context Protocol) or similar AI integration frameworks

• Prior startup experience or experience working in high-autonomy environments
