We are seeking experienced attorneys with experience in personal injury and road traffic accident claims to join our team and help clients navigate their legal rights and claims.

Position Overview:The attorney will be responsible for representing clients in road traffic accident claims from the initial consultation through to trial or settlement. This will be done in conjunction with the client law firms in the UK. This role requires in-depth knowledge of personal injury law particularly relating to road traffic accidents along with strong negotiation and advocacy skills. All skills and knowledge required of UK laws will be provided through training with the UK client law firms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough legal research and analysis regarding road traffic accident claims.
• Assess and evaluate potential cases by gathering evidence and interviewing clients witnesses and experts.
• Prepare and file legal documents including notices of motion affidavits and court submissions.
• Develop case strategies and represent clients in negotiations with insurers and during settlement discussions.
• Advocate for clients in preparation for court preparing cases for hearing before magistrates as necessary.
• Maintain regular communication with clients ensuring they are informed of case progress and options.
• Collaborate with medical professionals accident reconstruction experts and other relevant parties to strengthen cases.
• Manage a caseload efficiently ensuring timely progress and adherence to legal deadlines.

Qualifications:

• LLB degree from an accredited institution.
• Admission as an attorney in South Africa and in good standing.
• 2 years post admission experience in personal injury law with a focus on road traffic accidents.
• Strong understanding of personal injury law.
• Excellent negotiation communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines effectively.
• Strong research and writing skills with the ability to articulate legal arguments clearly.
• Experience with any case management system
• Ghost Practice (advantageous)

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with trial work and court proceedings.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
