Job Advertisement: Project EHS Advisor - Netherlands
Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and professional Safety Advisor to join our team for a data centre contractor project in Groningen. This role is pivotal in ensuring the highest standards of health safety and environmental compliance on-site. If you are passionate about maintaining a safe working environment and have a strong background in EHS (Environmental Health and Safety) practices we encourage you to apply. Responsibilities
- Conduct all site-based EHS duties to ensure compliance with local and international safety regulations.
- Develop implement and monitor safety policies and procedures tailored to the data centre project.
- Perform regular site inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions.
- Provide guidance and training to site personnel on safety protocols and best practices.
- Investigate incidents accidents and near-misses and prepare detailed reports with recommendations for prevention.
- Collaborate with project managers contractors and other stakeholders to promote a culture of safety.
- Maintain accurate records of safety inspections incidents and training sessions.
- Stay updated on industry standards and regulatory changes to ensure ongoing compliance.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a safety advisor or similar EHS role preferably within the construction or data centre industry.
- Strong knowledge of health safety and environmental regulations and best practices.
- Relevant certifications in occupational health and safety (e.g. NEBOSH IOSH or equivalent).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with diverse teams.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in using safety management systems and reporting tools.
- Must hold a valid EU passport.
